BFE Implements Dante IP Technology In New Buildings at University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

HS Duesseldorf

Since 2014, BFE successfully completed several projects in the planning and implementation of media technology in new buildings at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf (HS Düsseldorf). Now, the systems integrator and specialist for professional audio and video technology was awarded again to shape the further development of Campus Derendorf.

In one of the most ambitious projects of HS Düsseldorf, the school is building an entire campus with state-of-the-art technology north of downtown Düsseldorf. The new buildings 6, 7 and 9 will feature more than 57 conference rooms, training classrooms and lecture halls with networked media technology.

Apart from powerful Full HD projectors, interactive touch panels and displays with intuitive user interfaces, IP technology plays an important role in the concept. Crestron NVX network switches are used for digital distribution of video signals via ethernet, while audio signals are distributed via Dante to create an integrated and modern technological environment for supporting teachers, students and scientists.

The project is planned to be completed in October 2018.
