BFE renews media technology for the RSH
The Robert Schumann Hochschule (RSH) in Düsseldorf is a university of music with about 850 students.
The range of courses offered, comprises six artistic courses of study in which the focus is on music and music education.
As part of the modernisation, BFE is equipping seminar and lecture halls at the RSH with the latest networked media technology, computer and media workstations and a technology and server room. The aim of the project is to design a homogeneous, future-proof media technology equipment landscape to support teaching and learning processes. In particular, the areas of operation, connection concept and networking are to be standardised. Graphically appealing, intuitively operated and ergonomically designed touch-panel-user-interfaces-simplify the use of the systems. Using innovative high-performance projectors from Sony and large-screen displays from Samsung, graphic content can be optimally displayed. In addition, sound reinforcement loudspeakers from Alcons, audio DSP systems from Yamaha and ceiling speakers from Bose are integrated.
"Especially in such challenging times, we are very pleased to drive digitisation at universities and support students and lecturers with our innovative system solutions," says Markus Greiter, Managing Director at BFE.
